Bringing Science to Energy Policy

A recent Q&A with PSE Director of Research Dr. Elena Krieger described how PSE’s interdisciplinary research helps answer the diverse questions of policymakers and community groups – with the goal of empowering them to create improved, data-driven energy policies. Read the news story.

Oil Development and Human Health in Los Angeles PSE’s Executive Director Dr. Seth Shonkoff and Senior Scientist Lee Ann Hill published two reports that discussed the health hazards, risks, and impacts of oil and gas development in the City of Los Angeles. These reports were commissioned by the City of Los Angeles Office of Petroleum and Natural Gas Administration and Safety to support data-driven decision making.
