Oil and Gas Wastewater Reuse in California: Considerations and Risks

Summary

Seth Shonkoff, PhD, MPH gave a webinar to federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) oil and gas regulators on the current practice and the potential risks and impacts of oil and gas wastewater reuse for food crop irrigation, groundwater recharge and livestock watering. Dr. Shonkoff also provided a briefing on thes tate of the science on this topic to Colorado EPA Region-8 regulators and other staff in 2017.
