On December 9th, 2023, PSE’s Director of Energy and Health Lee Ann Hill joined the 28th United Nation’s Climate Change Conference (COP28) for a panel titled Mitigating Methane: A Global Health Strategy. The event was held at the Health Pavilion, hosted by the World Health Organization on behalf of the health community. The session brought together stakeholders from waste, energy, agriculture and public health sectors to discuss methane’s impact on climate change and to discuss the linkages to health in the energy, food, and waste sectors.
