Our Work

Current projections show global temperatures will surpass the critical 1.5°C threshold between 2030 and 2052. Decision makers and communities require reliable data and scientific information to achieve rapid and dramatic reductions in climate pollution and to lower the risk from climate impacts.

Our work on climate examines how climate change is reshaping energy systems and society. We combine expertise in fields including climate hazards, climate resilience, air quality, and public health to provide analysis on the drivers of climate change and to advise on strategies for climate mitigation and adaptation. Through this work we partner with leading national and international research institutions, community-based organizations, and others to develop evidence-based solutions that support greater climate resilience and equity.
