Jeremy Domen joined PSE in 2020, where his work focuses on the health hazards and risks associated with oil and gas development, production, transmission, and distribution. As part of the Methane + Health Initiative, his work focuses on characterizing and modeling hazardous air pollutant content in methane emission events worldwide for the Methane Risk Map (MRM).
Prior to joining PSE, Jeremy worked at the Ecological Engineering Research Program at the University of the Pacific and at the Earth and Environmental Sciences Area at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where his research focused on water quality issues in California’s Central Valley, chemical use in both hydraulic fracturing and conventional oil and gas operations in California, and potential environmental impacts of carbon capture and sequestration.
Jeremy received both his MS in Engineering Science with a focus on environmental engineering and BS in Bioengineering from the University of the Pacific, where his research focused on the optimization of biogas production from the anaerobic co-digestion of agricultural wastes in California’s Central Valley.
